Curling started in St.Lawrence offically in 1972. The equipment was brought down by Alcan from Arvida,PQ. This equipment was already 25 years old but still working and it's still there today. Curling was initiated by senior Alcan Management who, when transferred here, missed the curling from their hometown, and decided we could use a curling rink. Curling is still being play here today 35 years later.
